Went to this a few weeks ago. Took off the front part of cover for evaporater and found ice around fan (evap was clear) removed it and reset. I called back yesterday and the same thing had happened.
The ice is between the two covers. I’m not sure whether or not to change the foam within the channels of the front cover or if there is another problem. On the first visit I suggested that the door had been left open but I’m not sure now.

Update on this one. It is still getting ice around fan. Evaporator is clear, left thermometer in overnight and it gets to -18 and comp was off but three lights on front are flashing. Does anyone have a service manual or know of any modifications?
