    when I press start on the washing machine the wash light comes on, then a click then nothing happens for a short time until the door locked light comes on flashing. Then nothing happens. Any Ideas ?

    Sounds as though the motor carbon brushes need replacing…

    Brushes are around £15/£25 +postage etc
