    I am a qualified electrician and am changing the soap dispenser on my dishwasher.
    The new dispenser is the updated replacement part no 407 135 8131
    and comes with a wiring info sheet which I do not understand !
    Has anyone replaced a similar one ? and if so could they give me advice on wiring the new one up.

    Do as it says, there are two wires to solenoid & 2 to a level switch on the rinse aid as far as I can remember, the cable connections that come with it help you to re-wire if new dispenser is different than the original, if its the same its a straight swap, simples.

    Hi Crockhurst – Have you got any further with this? I have exactly the same problem – I cannot understand the “instructions” on how this adapter should be connected. Doesn’t make any kind of sense – the text and pictures are useless.
    The Instruction Sheet that comes with this replacement dispenser is P/N 822 921 178. and it needs a rewrite into English!
