Here’s a really stupid question – How do I change the bulb on a Hotpoint HTC6 chimney cooker hood? The instructions pretty much match this video http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ssTCGPj9CWY&feature=fvwrel#/watch?v=ssTCGPj9CWY&feature=fvwrel, however the bulbs I have don’t have any notches for me to remove the glass via

    My bulbs look like this

I’ve managed to remove the whole bulb housing, but can’t see any way to remove the glass to get to the bulb itself

    Any help would be appreciated!

The steel outer rim on the lens comes off to gain access to the bulb.

That’s the bit I don’t know how to do. I don’t know how to separate the two rings. I can only remove the outer ring from the hood, along with the inner ring. No idea how to separate the two

There doesn’t seem to be anywhere to part the two
