    WFL2260UK/12

Initial complaint of no fill. Tried on spin only and it would only drain, no motor action. Set to wash and motor starts to run but no fill.

Pressure switch thinks I, it is making a slight click but not knowing which connections are which I an unable to verify its operation with any confidence.

I am going to order and try a pressure switch but just wondered if anyone had encountered a similar fault on one of these, or was it something more sinister. 😉

Did you check the sump hose/pressure chamber for blockages ? Had that a good few times . Sounds like the machine thinks its still full of water .

Yes Paul, not seen this much on Bosch but it was very common on early Hotpoint machines so I ran it with the pressure hose disconnected from switch and also blew down hose which was clear. Even gave the switch a few ‘gentle’ taps which often used to free the Hotpoint ones but no joy with this one.

No go with this one, fitted new pressure switch and just in case meggered the heater first which was perfect.

Sadly when I tipped it back to get at the heater I found the motor earth wire hanging loose, very slight signs of it touching one of the motor brush connections.

Looks like it has damaged the PCB, as soon as you turn it on it starts to tumble at wash speed but only in the wash direction without stopping. No motor action at all when set to spin. The new pressure switch had no effect. 🙁
