Hi, this machine I had from new, has had little use due to the fact it spends so much time broken down. It had a new water heater fitted after 4 months use…since then it fills up with some water, makes all the right noises etc…takes more water…starts to heat then ‘click’ it switches off. Any ideas why? 😯 Thanks.

You did’nt see any fault code appear by any chance?
Check the drain pump is not blocked, door may not be locking right either & check you haven’t selected rinse hold by mistake.
Daewoo machines like many electronic control ones now are very prone to unbalanced loads & don’t go to spin if loading is incorrect.

    Hi

Thanks, for that. There is no error code, sorry. Doesn’t even get to wash, never mind rinse….it works for about 30 seconds, starts to heat, then just switches off. Drain filter checked & cleared -first thing I did- but no joy. I keep this as a spare machine…it did this once before but did right itself for no reason. It’s be standing in the garage for 10 months now and when I bought it back into the house to use, this is what it keeps doing. 🙁

There may be a motor related fault or p.c.b at fault, there is a 2 year warranty on these if its still within that time range get it looked at under warranty.
