hotpoint WT540 outta control

hi all , i replaced a board on this about 4 weeks ago , all going well customer said until all lights started flashing , he checked drain pump and a coin had got stuck in there , after that the next wash boiled the water so much steam was comin outta the dispenser drawer and some clothes got their colour taken out , now when you turn on m/c the lights come on and it starts a wash without even pressing the start button and keeps going for hours ??
