    Hi Guys

Changed the thermal cut out on an Electrolux oven today, as it kept cutting out after 30 minutes or so.

Now the cooling fan will not stop running?

Do you think its a dodgy part?

I know I’ve changed these before because the cooling fan keeps running.

Funny it’s started doing this after changing the part.

    What kept cutting out?

The TOC is normally open circuit and only switches the cooling fan on when the oven temp gets above 90c.

The main fan oven was cutting out.

The user said it would usually go off after about 30 minutes. The power was there but the oven would not start working again until it had cooled down.

The thermal cut out had completely burnt out at the top.

I’ve no idea where you got that part number from. The oven TOC (part no. 3302934017) is located on the back of the main oven cavity. The ventilation fan TOC (part no. 3302081058) is located on the top adjacent the fan housing.

Thinks its the cooling fan controller ,it should be called a cut IN!
