Hi, I have a Sharp Frost Free SJ48HS Fridge Freezer.
I used to use in my garage as an overspill/beer fridge freezer, but I have recently brought it back in the house as our built in Siemens appliance compressor has failed. We are going to use it for a while while we decide whether to remodel the kitchen or not.
So, the problem is I have no service or user manuals and we have noticed a long standing issue with Ice forming on the top shelf of the Fridge. This is clear solid Ice that would indicate a water issue. I have checked the collection/evaporation tray under the fridge and it is dry as a bone. I can see the small bore flexi hose section that would guide the water into the tray but only a short stub of it.
I’m looking for guidance on where the potential blockage could be and how I could get to it to clear and fix the issue. I don’t want to go poking things up the hose in case I damage it and the water ends up going somewhere else unknown.
I’d appreciate any ideas or help, please ❓ 💡 ❗
cheers
Scott
