    My Electrolux hood trips out after about 10 minutes of use. Electrolux won’t reply to my emails, so was wondering if anyone knows of an overheat trip on these and where I can get a spare for. Don’t want to have to buy a new one.

    Is it your mains/rcd trip that fails,if so you need someone to test the appliance.
    No reset trip built in,could be an overheat protector in motor windings,
    Are the filters clean,is the fan blade clean is the exhaust clear at the end on vent ?
    All worth a look.

    Take the bulbs out and try the hood again
