Biting the bullet now it’s payday, and not sure how much I need to do. Usual icing-up problem from what I can read, and the evaporator panel was replaced by Samsung a couple of years ago. Problem returned recently, and having had the machine checked by my electrician son with his multi-meter, there no obvious sign as to where the problem lies. Ice build-up in the fan area too, and nothing getting through the vents as a result. Power-Freeze/Power-Cool diagnostic doesn’t show anything, but powering off then turning back on, the fridge-side display shows a figure 3. As that suggested (to me at least from the repair-instructions pdf on the site) that there may be error messages 1,2,3,4 & 7 I was quite concerned. However, as 1 = Ice-Maker sensor, and that is totally fine, I reckon that’s not exactly what I feared.
Well, I wondering if I need the cover replacing again, or if this looks like an issue elsewhere. Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Gerry
