i changed our’s about a year ago, had a look today and they are almost completely worn away, the machine isn’t overly used (it is a washer/dryer and the dryer does get used), i bought them from a well known site (wont mention them in case its against the rules) but surely a year is a bit short?

    Thanks

    Hi

Make and model number of machine would be good. Which site did you buy from and which brushes did you buy, genuine or pattern?

Could well be especially if the machine gets lots of use.

FHP motor brushes can wear out pretty quickly especially if the commuter is a bit worn. The brushes though are pretty standard and OK to fit provided you clean the armature first carefully with a Comm Stick.

Sorry typo, should read commutator. The copper segmented part of the armature.
