    got to look at this machine for noisy bearings which looks like best part of £200 if it needs a drum.Looked at this tub construction before and it looks a pig to split with the plastic clips.A new tub isnt viable so how easy it to part without damage.

    Use side cutters to release the tub locking tabs. A wood chisel works wonders too!

    thanks martin.does that mean i can then reuse the tub having broken off the tabs ?

    I find a dremel works well without any damage.
