Just done one of these this evening. It wasn’t until I had the front of the machine off before I remembered that it was about this time last year that I replaced one and had a right faff about replacing it.
Anyway, same again….took nearly an hour with a lot of fiddling around.
Does anyone have a good method of doing these? I just dont seem to be able to get anything on the seal ring at the back without removing the weight (or is it just me??).
I remove lid, front panel, control panel, panel subframe, dryer heater box, door seal, and reassemble in reverse. One of the most time consuming door seals to change, and takes me about as long as the Smeg washer/dryer door seal with drain tube. I price accordingly!
