    Hi all

after some digging the PCB is not sending a start signal to the compressor (a Danfass one) but the compressor runs if I short the brown and black wires that go to the PCB from the compressor.

There are tyo wires which are I guess temperature wires that go to the PCB from the main chamber.

My question is replacing the PCB with a sort of electronic box that can read the temperature from these wires and then it closes the loop to the compressor to start it.

Can anyone give it advice on this? New PCB is 100 quid and I have no issue with a little extra box sitting on top of the fridge.

    I have pix if necessary.

    Please help . . !

    Hi

Fridge is a GRAM KS 1400

    PCB is 76-007-3392

When I try to short two wires sometimes only the compressor will hum… as though its trying to start… is this anything?
