    Hi,

I hope you can help. My Siemens SE25M275/GB has gone faulty. It seems to start fine though it does seem to take a little bit too long to start the actual program (moving on from the drain bit at the very start) it starts the wash and thats kinda where it stays. The timer counts down but it doesn’t move on through the cycle just stays on wash. It gets down to 0:01 on the timer and just stays there carrying on washing.

I can get it to drain the water out by pushing the reset buttons but thats the only way to stop it.

If you have any advice before I have to resort to calling someone out I would be very grateful.

    Thanks

The water inlet matrix and pressure chamber unit need cleaning out most likely. 😀

Thanks for your quick reply. Bearing in mind I am a total novice at dishwashers can you give me a good starting point to get at that. I am quite hands on with stuff like this but have never attempted dishwasher repairs before 🙂

    Hi,

Thanks again for your help. Have discovered that it doesn’t appear to be heating properly either, you get a waft of warm air when you open the door mid cycle but the water is cold. Looking back I have been noticing it not drying properly for a week or so either.

I have spoken to a local repair company and they have advised about £170 (fitted) for the repair and I have looked up the price of the Heater Exchange and it is £120 so not worth the cost of repair 🙁

Really appreciate you answering my query though.

    Sian
