    Hi Gents
    Have been to the above dryer and the over-load stat has tripped. Hoover supply the stat, together with the heater and cycling stat as an assembly. Does anyone know if you can buy the cut out separately or what it’s temp is? (Only fitted the heater assay in December 2012!)

    Not a kosher fix I know but fitting a resettable TOC is a good ‘get out of jail card’ so stick a 41024208 in there. Advise on the usual ‘cool-down lecture’ to your customer. Also run it with a load just to check the state of the capacitor in case it is giving up the ghost!

    Thanks for the TOC part number. Appreciate the advice! I really object to buying the heater complete when the stat and cut out is all you need.
