whirlpool adp2315 dishwasher heater

Hi all..

Fitted a new heating element to this newer (18 months old) freestanding dishwasher. Has a different input/output set of buttons/sequence lights to what im used to seeing and i noticed, like late hotpoint machines, is always on.
Seems as if a reset or service test wash is required after fitting the new part otherwise the module locks out the operation of the heating circuit!
There lies the problem. For love nor money can i find how to set this up.. Did get the machine into some test style mode by pressing and holding one of the three buttons ( think this was the start button while all lights were off) Held this for ten seconds and three seqence lights illuminated. Then, by pressing the program select, it scrolled through 4 lights, one light, two and back to three. seems it was then possible to hit start and the machine went through the usal motions.
Was not able to complete this cycle due to time so left and said i would return with more info.
Does anyone know the advised proceedure and what the lights are displaying.
