I have a Blomberg EOD 605 and i have recently replaced the heating element in the main fan oven. When I now turn it on, all is as it should be until the oven reaches 100 degrees then the whole oven, including the digital timer turns off. The fan keeps going though until the oven temperature drops then everything turns back on again.
Could it be the thermal cut out and if so, where would I find it?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a cut out but that looks to be an older oven and there’s not a lot of info on it about.

    Thanks K.
The oven was in the house when we bought it 7 years ago. I did try looking on line for any info on it but, as you say, theres not much out there. Unfortunately I cant afford to repace it so Im doomed to diagnose and repair it. If it is the cut out, where would that be? Its a built in oven and I have a sinking feeling that I will have to remove it to repair it.
    Any advice?
    Thanks

Oh yes, it will have to come out as the cut out will be under the top panel or cover no doubt.
