Hi All,
Wonder if you could assist.
I have a Phillips Whirlpool adg664/1 dishwasher that was purchased in 1989 by my mother. Recently the water stopped heating up so I managed to find a heater (last one in the world) and changed it. The old heater had 1 safety stat attached but the new heater has 2 stats (1 safety) and 1 normal.
Now the dishwasher works through a prewash(cold water only) but the timer sticks if you put it on any other programme. Do you know if there were any modicications on the heater, like do both stats need to be connected for the timer to work or could they be totally unrelated issues.
