candy oven wiring

hi first cheers for taking time to read my problem, i have a candy built in electric oven model f 254/3 w uk , just changed the heater element which you have to change from opening the back, problem is i marked and wrote down all the wires i disconnected, but when installing noticed the wires at the very bottom in the middle which i didn’t disconnect had come out themselves when i was moving the back plate around, it is a block for four wires red blue white and grey, the red is still connected so just the other 3 to work out, on the block there is also a conection in the middle for a possible earth nothing was connected to this the terminal (not as clean as others) anyway installed the heater element and put all the other wires back on,give the oven a test and everything seems to be working fine without these wires connected, but they must be for something , any help would be great
