Candy CDB754d with no power to the dryer solenoid. Last time I had this fault on the later Candy W/d’sit was the board, this time tested the lot but getting nothing at the board when the dryer is on. Ordered a board direct from Gias which arrived resealed with packing tape after it had been opened. Noted this with the spares desk.

Changed the board still no power to the solenoid. Now not sure if it’s a returned duff board or I still haven’t cracked the fault. I thought it was just a straight 240v fom the pcb edge connector all the time it’s drying, but anyone with experience of these point me in the right direction.

Just to recap, there is mo power from the edge connector on the pcb to the valve.

How long into the drying cycle is it before the valve is energised?

Just a thought as some don’t kick in for a few minutes although not sure about this model

I’ve left it for a good while but doesn’t power up. Every time I visit the dryer stat is tripped ……..even though they don’t use the dryer while it’s faulty :rolls:

I’m wondering if it isn’t something simple like that ruddy Selector Switch? (41014502)?????

Oooooo 😕 Martin you might have something or not.
The original call to this was that the dryer didn’t work …AND….the programme was jumping all over the shop. A little spray with switch cleaner cured that but wondering if there is something else.
