Funny thing this that shocked me a bit this evening.

We all know or, we should, what the normal “average” washing machine use should be and you can apply it to other products as you wish, which I delved into recently due to some idiots whining.

Anyway, I started to look at this in more depth as I got interested and managed to find the information on household size trends in the UK, which I have added to this article:

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/buyi … e-use.html

It is truly shocking that, in actuality, that only about 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of homes in the UK have four people or more living in them meaning that this is the minority, not the norm.

Which is why I suppose that most manufacturers don’t make machines anywhere near good enough to cope with that level of use as, it’s nowhere near the average level of use required.

    K.
