    I have an oven Baumatic B100SS which is completely broken/unfixable and want to replace it.

    It has a depth of 525mm but is discontinued and its very tight at the back of the oven a 550 deep one won’t fit without alot of structural change

    Can you buy a built in oven less than 550mm deep now?

    The electrical socket is at the back and I will need to move that and because there isn’t much room which will mean changing the supports on the worktop which will then mean moving two of the floor kitchen units. Just wondered if someone still makes one it saves all the bother.

    I think you should move that socket as its not the best place for it anyway, then you should be able to pick any single oven then

    Yes thanks where would be the best place to put the sockets at the back of an oven?

    No, in an adjacent cupboard or wall mount and where it can be easily accessed.
