have just replaced my oven fan motor can anyone tell me is it surpost to be earthed there is a earth terminal but cant see any earth cable thanks

The fan body holds an earth terminal for cookers that the motor fits that have an earth lead.
Generally, the earth terminal and respective lead are used on ovens with a ceramic coated body to ensure a good earth.
On ovens that are not coated with ceramics the earth terminal need not be used as the body of the motor is bolted to a steel body and has sufficient earthing.
