Hi. This was flashing F17 sometimes F18. These are customer fault codes for poor drain and problems with water. Removed and cleaned sump hose, found lots of hair. Removed and thoroughly cleaned condenser. Water valve filter and solenoid ok. It registers F17 after about 2 mins on dryer programme. Surely you don’t have to clear fault as it is a customer displayed fault? If so how on this model? checked pressure bottle also. Removed that when cleaned sump hose. Help appreciated.

Update on this one.Went back today to do a few more checks.I asked the customer to run this through a wash cycle before I returned today, which she said it completed fine.
When I walked in today I put it on a dry cycle, worked fine. Put a few wet tea towels in it,ran it for 45 minutes worked fine, checking the solenoid valve through the process.
So was this an airlock after removing the sump hose, eco-ball? Faulty pressure switch? Dont know if this is a frequency device like some of the zanussi’s. Will let you know if it fails again, fingers crossed. 😀
