PAYE In Real Time

I dont’ know how many of you know about this and, I only found out about it a week or two ago but, our friends at HMRC are moving the goalposts (again) on PAYE/NI payments.

From April 6th, in effect, you need to pay this in real time as you pay any employees of the company, including yourself.

I only mention it as, talking to Sean last night, he hadn’t a clue about it and it turns out that according to Sage, 72{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of businesses in the UK haven’t a clue about the changes being made.

I doubt this will win HMRC any friends or endear them to anyone.
