    Just wondered what u lot wear on your feet- shoes, trainers, boots?
    Odd request I know, but after wearing shoes with steel toe caps for near on 30 years,
    my feet are finally rebelling- bleedin’ ache after a days work.
    Would love to wear nice comfy trainers, but feel they may look a bit unprofessional .
    Looking at Alexandra catalogue showing trainer type with steel toe caps look ok, but the black soles normally mark people’s nice tiled floors.
    Any ideas anyone- HELP – save me from using me the other halfs foot spa !!!!!! 🙁

    I wear dark grey trainers. I don’t think they look unprofessional and they’re comfy. If you have a look for shoes with vibrant soles, they may be a good alternative.

    I bought a pair of black steel toe capped trainers from a market in Abergavenny a couple of years back for £15. The toes are rubber covered and crawling all over the floor since have no signs of wear…..brilliant!

    Who would have thought the Welsh would sell anything worth buying…..amazing! :clown:

    Iv gone back to black trainers as I kept getting bad feet in shoes.

    Yep..trainers here as well…although in some homes i do take them off for the walk to the machine, then put them back on..only on clean sock days though..!

    I always looks for some very fine tread as well as it stops you walking crap through people’s homes, boots just hold it even when you wipe them.

    been in them all day love them. 😀

    thanks for feedback all, will look at trainers then. good point about the tread holding muck, pity they dont make a trainer with the sole of a DM.

    Whatever I where, customer look at me like I am a something they just trod in on theirs.

    Fist day I wore them, I got that eyes greet the feet welcome. “Take your boots off”. After refusing politely and reasoning as to why, I entered the house to carry out the job. I have to say, the house was bordering on the “Wipe your feet on the way out Breed”. Filthy, cheeky 8astards.
