ParticipantHi,
Got a 4 year old Aqualtis that hasn’t put a foot wrong but then last week f-03 came flashing up after 10 minutes of a wash cycle.tested the thermistor, wires and heating element and all appear to be ok. Sent the pcb away and no fault found so I thought it could be the thermistor as I’m not an expert in electrics and testing.
Just out of curiosity I tested the machine on a drying cycle and the fault came up again after about 20mins.
As a novice am I right in saying that the drying circuit and the wash circuit are different entities so it’s probably not the thermistor located in the wash heating element?Does anybody have any ideas or pointers towards something I might have overlooked?
Any help would be much appreciated as the wife is getting slightly angry now….
Cheers

Was there any corrosion on the wash NTC connector.
Normally its F13 if its the drier thermistor located in the heater box, ios suggest its possibly intermittent wiring to the wash Ntc in the heater,
I would replace both wash and drier NTC part number c00083915 will do both but they have upgraded the drier one to c00290251 as they have had a few issues with it so is get one of each and do both.
If you still get the problem I’d go with the harness.

Thanks! I’ve already ordered the wash ntc but I couldn’t see corrosion on the existing one.
I’ll order the drier one just in case and thanks for giving me the part number.

Hi Brewenuk, can you post an update on this, working on a WDL540puk.c with similar problem. Spoke to Tony@EMW and suggested i take a look at the dryer ntc & loom. Anyway had a iwd-something with the same dryer system and ntc going for scrap so took that with me and tried that and no issues, put in a pne with connect for the ntc as it wasnt listed on hp site, and it looks totally different to the original, so would like to know how yours pans out

Hi Mate, I ordered a replacement Washer NTC a week ago and it still hasn’t turned up and i have been messed around. I have just ordered the NTC from the Whitegoods online shop so hopefully it will be with me by thursday and i can let you know if it was simply down to the NTC.

I’ve just thought about another test i did on the machine and that was to put it on the “Steam Refresh” setting.
The machine ran without the fault code being triggered but no steam was produced and the drum slowly filled up with water slowly. From what i could tell the water was not heated in any way.
Any ideas?

Hopefully a final update on this.
The thermistor finally turned up and i think it is the upgraded version which has a “stepped” shaft compared to the standard straight cylinder on the existing one. I swapped them over and so far so good the machine is working without fault 😀
Thanks for everones help on this and at least i have spare NTC for the drier when that spare arrives 😆
