Help please!!! I have dug myself into a situation of uncertainty. Im in the process of refurbishing a Hoover HP13 (A bit like Hoover 6). I have been replacing the tub and now im on the re-build I have noticed the suspension springs are different to each other. One has a red paint spot on it and the other has a green paint spot on and I foolishly didn’t make a note of which side went to what. The one with the green mark is the longer of the two. I’m aware it will be designed this way to help absorb impact as the machine spins & rinses but I remain uncertain. Does anybody know please?
    Thanks in advance.
    Rob.

Green is the left and red the right hand side

Thanks Martin, is that looking from the front of the machine?

What are you like eh that you should ask, new to the trade are you? 😉

In the trade we refer to doors being ‘left hand hinged’ and ‘remove the right hand panel to access the motor’ and such all the time……

On the contrary, whenever I give advice I will always state ‘the right hand side (from the front)’ or similar. 😛
