Complaint of F03 in display and sometimes not taking powder.

Drain pump and outlet hoses all clear and functioning perfectly.

I’m thinking a possible fault in the pressure switch/pressure chamber/pressure hose area.

Gentle blow up the switch and it clicks normally, blew down the pressure hose from top, didn’t seem as though it was blocked although not easy to tell either way. Sadly due to the sealed drum it is impossible to get into the pressure chamber to clean.
Set it to wash and it filled perfectly through both valves and both drawer compartments. Left it with the customer to give it a trial run, did advise a maintenance wash, seal was a bit manky.

Could it be that I have dislodged a small blockage in the pressure chamber or is it likely to be something else?

    Jim.

Thanks Bob, will check it out. I am correct in thinking that F03 is supposed to be a drain fault?

it is a drain error but hoover have released a tech bull on that very fault, insulation test the heater when hot.

What is very odd about that Gias tech bulletin is that they suggest if E03 occurs then you should disconnect and insulate the heater leads then try it for a short while on a wash/heat cycle. That will then throw up an E14 (no heat error), with the apparent conclusion you have eliminated the E03 error and therefore proved the heater to be at fault.

Throughout all Gias tech bulletins it is obvious the Italians don’t use a Megger as simply meggering the heater would show up the fault straight away……….Mama Mia, whatsa the problema, whata are we gonna do’a eh?
