A phone call says that his dishwasher says “no rinse aid” but in the chamber it’s full of rinse aid.
Therefore he assuming that it’s broken. I am not familiar with broken rinse aid as they are usually very reliable with the exception of Bosch that can cause the board to blow if a fault develop on the detergent dispenser.
Does the fault description sounds right and the solution is replace the dispenser unit? Are there any other areas I need to check that might be related to the fault?
Re: Hotpoint Dishwasher FDW85 – Rinse aid not working
I’m having trouble finding replacement dispenser for this model. Basically it’s a rinse aid light activated (not the window type) and it’s a reed connector. The one that are listed have two pin plugs which are no good for this job.
