Hi,
I have an Electrolux ESL624 that has suddenly stopped working. It starts off ok then the wheel clicks and no water comes into the machine. We called out an engineer who told us the pump had gone and to get a new machine.
Since then we have pulled it out and the inlet valve and the pump vibrate when a cycle is started, it drains fine when I throw some water in.
Now after reading other people’s problems with the IWMS we have taken the side off. There is no black in the plastic or in the brown goop. The pipes at the front aren’t blocked either.
Does anyone have any ideas? Can the IWMS look ok but still stop working?
Thank you
If the pumps ok and the IWMS is clear then the inlet valve may of locked out where the inlet valve is there is a pink tube with a white cap on it remove the cap and a tiny bit of water will come out give the valve a light tap to reset it and try that. This particular design of machine was plagued with various problems and thats proberley why the engineer suggested to ditch it. Certainly don’t throw any money at it it just ain’t worth it !
