    Hi…I have a candy gow464 that has stopped working it stopped mid cycle and all the lights have gone out. There is power going into the machine I have replaced the selector switch with no success, the bushes are ok, there is no earth leaks on motor or heating element.

    When you say there is power going to the machine, where have you tested for this?

    Hi I checked the mains filter with a voltage indicator

    Next step is check it at the door interlock

    Hi I noticed that the door wouldn’t lock shut when machine was turned on and set on a program but there was nothing else happening either, no lights etc.?
    My last comment regarding the live test was a silly, lazy,dangerous mistake. :zap: :zap:

    Replace the door interlock (part no. 41016879) as it is a common failing. 😉

    Tried a replacement door interlock and there was a second of life then a bang!! Checked for any loose connections, burnt cables and none visible. :con:

    Bad news indeed. Time to remove and inspect the PCB and if that is the cause of the bang place a picture of it on here.
