    Hi the above dishwasher starts as normal with drain pump running then the water comes in but it drains at the same time , the heater is also on at that point and smells of burning as its running dry ,

    Any ideas ??

    If its the heater thats on all the time it could have a welded relay contact & need P.C.B replaced.
    It may however be a smell from a faulty overheated overflow switch (float switch in base) thats a common problem with these Beko type dishwashers.
