Hi,
I own an approximately 10 year old “AEG Oko_Lavamat 72620 Update”
On a wash cycle once the water is in and the washing is underway, the drum will rotate a few times then the door lock will make a “click” like when it is not closed properly, then the machine will carry on. The door light doesn’t light up. It sometimes does this repeatedly (many times in a cycle) and sometimes not at all. It only seems to do it during the “washing” portion of the cycle, not the filling or spinning/pumping. It doesn’t do it for every separate wash.
Any ideas what this might be? My immediate thoughts were the door latch mechanism, but it only does it in the washing part, so I’m not so sure if it might be the controller or some other component.

It is usually an indication of a interlock fault or the connector plug to it. 9 times out of 10 a new switch cures.
