ParticipantHelp. I have a Smeg DWI612C Integrated D/W. When I start any program except the rinse, it stops after a few minutes, double beeps and starts again. There is water coming in, going out, no leaks underneath, and I have tried the reset. There are no error codes showing when I open the door either. I have taken off the water inlet which is working and waste water is flowing out.
Any ideas gratefully appreciated!?!?!?!?

Hi, I’m getting the same fault as the OP and have tried resetting etc.
The only difference is that I’m able to get a full cycle for the intensive wash (though not sure how long that will last as the fault has got progressively worse on the other washes!)
Were there any answers to this fault?
Thanks

first one is simple. its the power supply of the pcb thats failing.
As the unit starts more and more things turn on valves, motor, heaters etc requiring more and more power. As there is not enough power to supply all these the computer on the board crashes and it resets and starts again
not a hard job for a qualified engineer that frequents the trade side of this forum

Thanks for the quick reply electrofix (and for my other post on the Smeg oven!)
Just to check, is it the PCB itself or a separate component?
If its the PCB I was going to see if QER can repair it (~£75) and replace it myself, rather than the £150+ or so for a new one
Thanks

it is a component on the pcb thats failing
if you find an engineer that can do it whole job should be less than £75 (if i am right)

I thought I was going nuts!
I too have a DWI612C which keeps looping its programme. No error lights, no pumping out or draining issues.
It goes through the wash cycle then pauses, then a couple of beeps and it restarts the wash in a never-ending loop – it never gets to a ‘rinse’ cycle. I have to stop it manually or it’d keep going forever. Using the ‘rinse’ option (LED 1) performs a drain and rinse.
Is my issue also likely to be the power supply to the PCB as above? I’ve been washing up by hand lately but it’s starting to grate and it’d be nice to have the machine back up and running.
