    Hi,

Unfortunately my Indesit IS07c Tumble Dryer has started to squeak loudly. I have looked at some other posts and they recommend that the Jockey wheels be replaced. Would it be easy for someone with limited D.I.Y. knowledge to install? If yes, could someone please give me a few pointers on how to do it.

    Thanks

Jockey wheel and/or rear bearing, reasonably straight forward if you hands on.

Great, would it be best to replace the wheels first and if it still squeaks do the bearing too?

Could anyone please advise on a brief guide to replacing the wheels with this particular machine?

    Thanks

There is only one jockey pulley, if you look at the current thread from lancs-red yours is the same.

I would be checking the rear bearing first. 😉

    Thanks for the reply.

Could anyone please recommend a good quality replacement dryer in case I’m unable to repair the old one myself?

I have read some positive reviews of the Beko DCU7230, but don’t really know what to look for.

    Cheers

Thanks, I will go for a Bosch machine. Is there any particular models that are better than others?

Yes I did read that there were issues with some Beko machines but assumed that the problems had been ironed out by now.
