    Hi

I’ve just picked up a secondhand Baumatic B187SS oven, which i suspect has a problem with the cooling fan.

The cooling fan comes in straight away as soon as i turn the oven on & goes off instantly when i turn the oven off.

After a bit of searching i’ve found out that there are 2 temp sensors connect to the cooling fan circuit. I took the back & top off & removed 1 wire from each sensor & did a continuity test with a multimeter. The sensor at the back of the oven has continuity & the markings 25-02 145c & the sensor on the top of the oven near the Thermostat is open circuit & has no markings at all.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

So far as I can see that’s what it should do.

According to the wiring diagram there is only the main oven thermostat and a safety cut out, no monitor stats are fitted.

    Thanks for the reply kwatt.

I’ve never had a baumatic before, just seems weird that it’s on all the time & not running to cool the oven down after it’s switched off.I’ll give them a ring tomorrow & ask want the correct operation should be for the cooling fan.

    Thanks for the reply
