    Hi,

    need to adjust the water softener (salt) for this dishwasher but have lost the manual and can;t work out how. I’ve downloaded the manual from the Siemens site but this section says “See Introduction” but there’s nothing I can find in the introduction!!!

    Any help greatly appreciated…

    Press and hold the button in between the two ‘reset’ buttons.
    Turn on the on/off switch at then release both buttons.
    The preset setting number will flash in the display (default = 04)
    To alter, press that centre button (between the reset button).
    Each press alters it by one setting (0 = no salt 7 = max setting)
    Switch off on/off button to store. 😀
