    Hi,

Can any one help with this…

Machine stops mid cycle and flashes.

    Sequence is

    Start LED
    Spin LED
    Start LED+Spin LED
    Nil
    Nil
    Start LED
    Spin LED
    Start LED+Spin LED
    Nil
    Nil
    Continues in the sequence

I couldn’t find a reference to this in the codes section so any info would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Keith.

    Keith,

Nothing too technical on this one I reckon 8)

Drain Time out fault. Check pump/replace if impellor loose or noisy. Check and clean Air Bell/ Insulation test on Heater. Check drain out especially that crappy drain pipe chamber gizmo (can’t think what Bosch call it right now…its a gizmo to me 😆 ).

Also if the On/Off Switch feels a little sticky/sluggish to operate, change that too

Pump was noisy so already replaced, seems to drain fairly quickly but will still check chamber with air break in case. Already meggered the element and cleared the pressure chamber.

Will a sticky On/Off switch cause this fault or is this just another problem worth keeping an eye on.

The only other thing worth noting the water pressure is very low hence the fill is very slow (almost poetic). Could timing out on fill cause this error code?

Well the On/off switch thing will just cause the indicator lights to flicker and die usually, and you can ‘feel ‘ that the switch is dodgy as you press it ‘cos it doesn’t feel easy and positive to engage. Cheap to replace too!

I think you have hit the nail on the head so to speak on the water inlet pressure possibility  Is the (cold) supply that bad then? Not mains pressure or what? (National standard acceptable water pressure should be 1 bar (14psi) minimum – average usually should be 1.5bar)

Inlet valve coils going intermittent also well known fault 😉

    Re: Bosch WFF2001GB Code

This machine is installed in an out-house seperate from the main house and is known to have very low pressure. The customer has arranged for the water board to carry out tests. I have suggested they resolve the water pressure problem first and see if this rectifies the fault.
