Can anyone help with how to access service mode on this range ie component testing etc.

Why? Waste of time if you ask me but I think you need to press and hold Menu & Change together with the selector off then select Easy Care 30 then release buttons. Pressing the start button once then scrolls thru the various tests (but can’t recall which, sorry). Switch the selector to Off cancels the whole process and you can once more breath a sigh of relief. 😉
