    Can anyone suggest any decent models that meet the following:

    Oven Gas
    Single integrated
    With timer

    I would go for the GDHA brands Belling and Stoves.

    In fact I am about to remove our 3 year old single Stoves gas oven in stainless steel which was was in the house when we moved in last year and replace it with an electric one if you are interested?

    Stoves/UK made Belling every time. Made in Liverpool, excellent quality.

    They are the best built in gas ovens out there at the moment……. Excellent quality is pushing it a bit though, nowhere near the quality they used to be.

    Baumatic.

    They cook very quickly, most will roast a joint in 10 minutes.

    Even with all things being relative I still wouldn’t call their gas oven (or any of their products) excellent quality.


    And yes there are plenty of products out there that are better than 25 years ago, just look at the stuff coming out of the Rangemaster factory for a start, 25 years ago the Flavel/leisure stuff coming out of it was below average at best.
