    I have got an indesiit iwe8123 when turned on the door will not lock I have ensured door is lined up straight but door still opens. I have also tried the actual lock the door goes into but still no luck. Any suggestions please

    Remove the mains plug and check the motor brushes and motor plug connections.

    Do I need to take off back panel and remove motor etc to get to brushes ot can I do it without removing them

    Motor removal is the best way to properly check the brushes.
