Hi there, I have a problem with my kenwood CK304 FS range cooker. The oven stopped working a few days ago, it tripped all the fuses in the house and stopped working. After putting all the fuses back in I turned the electric oven on again and the fan spins but no heat. I have removed the back of the cooker to find that the purple wire that goes to the oven cut out thermostat has burnt on all the plastic covers on the connectors. I was wondering whether it would just be a case of replacing the oven cut out thermostat or whether the element would be faulty. When I turn the temperature nob on the front of the cooker the orange light still comes on.
Thanks for reading this post, Neil…..
