HELP AGAIN! my hotpoint wf560 washer is stopping mid cycle whichever one you try, with the wash enhance light flashing. I have had the module checked out with no fault found. Just changed the module for a reconditioned one from EMWELEC and it still doesn’t want to play ball, i have also tried a different control panel pcb. All to no avail.

I have merged all of your three separate threads on this one problem, it would have made sense to have posted them all in the same thread in the first place so people reading them would have some idea of what has gone on before.
What did you deduce from the error codes? It would have been wise to come back and ask after you had found your error code before diving in and changing pcb’s
It is better to give us the left hand flashing light by number from top down rather than its function, not all of the left hand buttons have the same functions but the error codes are the same.
Random changing of pcb’s even when you have had one tested as OK is not he best way to proceed. 😥

the light flashing would be no.1 (ie top left.) quite tempted to try a good foot up its hotpoint arse!

Well it is an Indesit in all but name. You have the dreaded 8 flash fault, if you do a forum search for Indesit and 8 flashes you will see what you are up against.
I flatly refuse to attend any machine with an F08/8 flash fault. I have been out of pocket more times than not. Although it is supposed to be a heater relay fault on the pcb it could be a faulty pressure switch, wiring fault, faulty ntc, earth faults on heater, wind direction, an R in the month, or anything else you can think of. Of course it could just be that the Indesit electronics used in this machine are some of the worst on the market. :rolls:

F08 are heater related and can be problematic to resolve but its telling you some in the heater circuit is not working,
A few basic checks first to try and establish what is happening
How long does it run before giving you the error on a fast wash ?
Does it give the error if you turn it on but don’t start a program just leaving it with the power light on ?
Is it heating water ? Stick it on the fast wash and give it 10 minutes or so and pump it out and feel the water
Next
First job would be an earth leakage test however you most likely wont have a meter to do this so
To start check the heaters continuity, aprox 26ohm
Next you need to check the pressure switch with and with out water in the drum.
Empty drum pins 11 and 12 should have continuity and pins 11 and 14 should not
The when full of water its the reverse of the above
If good I’d just check the heater NTC connector for corrosion on the connection as this can happen.
If all the above is good its the module
