ParticipantHi guys, having issues with a washer that won’t begin cycle.
it turns on, “OK” displays on screen, you can select cycles, but when you hit the start button it continues to flash, will not lock door and begin cycle. looked at the interlock and harness – tried new, looked at pcb – sent wrong version, checked display board, start button works (with multimeter).
no error codes, no wiring diagram and cannot find manual.
Any help would be appreciatedMaurice

did you say you replaced the door lock ?did you unplug door lock plug and look at connection pins on plug for burn marks.bell out the door lock wiring (check for continuity). would go for d/lock first before replacing the mod

check the wiring to display board for damage.at the plug going to display board .failing that replace display board and wiring for display.try the wiring first.

When you replaced the PCB, did you program it ? or swap the eprom from the old PCB ? From what I remember these PCB’s don’t come with eprom from most suppliers & those that do are not pre-programmed.

it would come up with a f0-9 error if the mod was blank

I have seen this with a bad program in the module in an Aqualtis before
Had one once that would start all program’s except the fast wash, would just keep flashing amber, reprogrammed it and it was fine after that
Did you day you have changed the board ?April 22, 2013 at 7:33 am #393912yoshi1981

thanks for your responses guys, PCB is programmed, display functions correctly – all buttons work, i even tried bridging start switch to no avail – do you guys know if a motor unplugged/ open circuit will give an error or just refuse to start?

when you say pcb filter plug would not fit are you sure its the correct pcb for the appliance as the filter plug should not be different what was the part no?
check wiring between motor and pcb wires can break at motor plug -
