could you please help with the following: I have a bosch SGS G3A52GB/35

The drain pump will not stop running, it will pump water out of the tub, if you press the 2 reset buttons it will indicate programme end, but the pump will still not stop unless you switch the machine off at the main switch. You can still select othe programmes, they all have the same fault. The machine is just over 2 years old and cost £300, is it worth repairing. Thanks very much.

    scotport,

The problem is likely a sticking flood protection device or there is an internal leak causing the device to trip. It is a relatively painless exercise to get an engineer in to check it for you, not that costly either. 🙂

Prior to that, you may like to pull the machine forward sufficiently to allow you to tip it backwards at an angle of some 45 degrees or more. If the floor tray is flooded then a small amount of water will pour out from underneath (have an old towel handy to mop up 😉 )

Do make sure you pull the plug out first :plug:

Hi Martin, Mrs A here, thanks for your help.

Got my machine going, however, what would cause it? and is it likely to do it again in the near future?
