    Hi troops,

I am looking for advice on how to get access to the back of the front panel to replace the selector switch, that I ordered from this site. Any advice appreciated. I have seen a espares on a similar(diplomat) oven , however I appreciate they are all different.

    Thanks 😮

    Here was the symptom,
The oven was switching off, however when the oven selector switch was touched the oven switched on again, it would reach temperature if you stood over it , and kept touching he switch as it went off. I thought that this indicated the thermostat was fine but the selector switch was at fault? Am I right??

    Thanks in advance

I removed the top panel and can see the switch, .however there’s a bar in the way, it possibly is contamination giving poor connection on the. Switch I will clean the existing switch contacts to see if this cures the problem.

Swapped the suspect part and its working fine, I replaced a connector as it was a bit black. Problem solved, thanks forum, not!
