    I have a new plastic fan blade for replacement of a damaged one but could do with some help on how to remove the old one. I have the lower back panel removed and have tried pulling the fan off of the motor shaft but to no luck.

    It does just pull straight off.

    I couldn’t get the fan off (scared of breaking something else under there) and now the motor appears to have burnt out. I have undone the screw that holds the motor framework but seem unable to get the whole assembly past the metal pipes, does it come out with some jigling to facilitate a full replacement ?
